Flower Color: Red with white speckling in the throat
Ruffles: Few to no ruffles
Bloom Period: Mid-summer to frost. You can extend the bloom period by planting new corms every few weeks in the spring, beginning at after the last frost.
Plant Ht: 4.5-5 ft
Soil: Well drained. Sandy loam soil is ideal.
Exposure: Full sun, minimum of 6 hr/day
Planting Tips: Plant corms 6 in deep spaced 5-6 in apart. Corms take 70-90 days to flower. Gladiolus should be staked to support the spikes if spikes are left on the plant.
Hardiness Zones: 8-10; mulch over winter in Zone 8 and lift over winter in Zones 3-7.
