Dahlias

  • Dahlia tuber store will open again March 1, 2025. Items will be listed as sold out until then. Please check back for additional varieties. All dahlias are sold as individual tubers; all tubers were grown here at Hoodoo Flower Farm.

    Tubers will be shipped from April 1 - May 31, 2025 or as temperatures permit.

    Local pick-ups for pre-orders placed online before March 31, 2024 must be picked up by April 15, 2024.  All orders placed online after March 31, 2024 must be picked up within 2 weeks of placing your order. Any orders not picked up within these specified dates will be refunded less a 25% restocking fee and items will be returned to stock.

    Dahlias originated in Mexico where the Aztecs utilized them for food and medicine. Current-day dahlia hybrids come in numerous colors, shapes and sizes. Many cultivars make excellent cutflowers and their showy blooms are a delight to behold. Many of the shorter varieties can also be grown in pots; they make a colorful and cheery addition to any front porch!
